How to Reset your Router .
A Password Reset is an operation that allows an administrator or helpdesk operator to set another user’s passwords to a desired new value, regardless of their current value.
This is a useful function in a Password Synchronization system: by changing multiple (or all) passwords for a user simultaneously, such software allows administrators to synchronize them.
Many at-times people think when their router is locked or forget password ,the router is of no used . The answer is a BIG NO !
Here are the solutions …..Please get your router along side .
Please follow the steps;
Before performing a hard reset on the router, you may want to try the default username and password. While not the same for all routers, it may grant you access. In many cases, the default username and password for a router is the following.
Username: admin or administrator
Password: <Blank>, admin, or password
Tip: This is for your information, if you do not know your router’s default router username and password.
If the default username and password are not working, it has probably been changed at some point in the past by you or your network administrator. Most routers have a small pinhole button on the back or bottom. Pressing and holding this button for 10-15 seconds hard resets the router. This action restores all default settings, allowing you to use the factory default username and password.
Once the router has been reset, you may enter the setup screen and change the password to whatever you prefer. Also, you need to re-enter any configuration settings that were in place prior to the reset.
If the router is from your ISP and you cannot perform a hard reset, contact the ISP for instructions on how to reset the username and password, or how to access the router configuration.
